Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act Basics

The purpose of the Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act (NAFI) is to make the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act applicable to civilian employees of the Armed Forces who are injured on military bases located in the United States. Administered by the United States Department of Labor Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, NAFI and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, from which it derives its substance, can be extremely complicated.

Unfortunately, it is not as simple as it should be for injured workers with legitimate claims to obtain the compensation that is available to them. We work hard to get our clients the medical treatment and money they need as quickly and as simply as possible. With more than 50 years of combined experience, our attorneys know how to get the best results possible in these cases.
